Policies

SESSION TIMES: Massage Sessions are a FULL 60 or 90 minutes of treatment so please plan for additional check in/check out time in addition to your session. I recommend an extra 10 minutes on either side of treatment time.

UPON ARRIVAL AT OFFICE: Office door may be locked if I am in session with another client when you arrive. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle and text to let me know you have arrived. I schedule appointments to allow ample time in between clients to alleviate any issues, but unforeseen circumstances may result in an overlap of arrival and departure times on occasion.

PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED: Payment is expected at time of service. Cash, credit card, and Zelle payments are accepted. At this time, Purple Moon Wellness does NOT accept insurance as a valid form of payment.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Gift certificates are available for purchase. Lost or stolen gift certificates may be replaced at Purple Moon Wellness’ discretion. Record of purchase and certificate number will be kept on file at business location for one year from purchase date. Unused portions may be used as payment toward future services and may not be redeemed for cash. Gift certificates expire 5 years from purchase date. After 2 years, if certificate is not used in whole or in part, a $10 inactive fee will be applied monthly.  The balance remaining, after inactive fees have been applied, may still be used toward services within 5 years of purchase date.

CANCELLATIONS: If you must cancel your appointment, please allow 24 hours notice.  Appointments cancelled within 24 hours may be charged 50% of the service booked.  You may cancel by calling or texting 610-806-2122. 

NO SHOW/MISSED APPOINTMENTS:  If you do not show for your scheduled appointment, you may be charged the full amount of your service booked. 

SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT:  A valid credit card number will be required to book your appointment.  Your card will only be charged if you do not show up for your appointment and/or fail to cancel within the 24 hour time frame.

MINORS AND PREGNANCY MASSAGE:  At this time, I do not provide treatment for individuals under the age of 18 and I currently do not offer Pregnancy Massage treatments. 

APPOINTMENT DAY:  I recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment.  This will allow you time to choose your aromatherapy oils and start your treatment session on time.  Your time is valuable, so I strive to begin and end every appointment at the scheduled time.  If you arrive late for your appointment, your session will not be extended and will end at the originally scheduled time.

FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete an intake form and allow time for a short consultation to discuss your treatment and allow me to answer any questions you may have.  If you have not had a massage prior to this, I will take the time to explain what you can expect from your massage session.

CLIENT INTAKE FORM:  Each client will be required to fill out a Health Intake Form before the first treatment session.  This form only needs to be completed once and can be updated at any time to accommodate any changes in the client’s health.  This form allows the therapist to assess any contraindications and/or health issues that may be present and work with the client to formulate a plan to adapt the proper massage techniques in order to provide the most benefit to the client.

CONFIDENTIALITY:  Every client’s treatment session and records will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone without the client’s written consent, unless required by law.

MASSAGE THERAPY:  Your massage session is meant to be relaxing and therapeutic.  Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment and Massage Therapists are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments and/or medications.  Information and treatment given during the course of your session, should not be construed as medical advice.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: Purple Moon Wellness reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.
